So I absolutely LOVE shopping. But shopping to be a Sister Missionary is kind of hard! I guess it wouldn't be that hard if I was a millionaire.. but you know. So here are some of the things that I've bought for my adventure in Washington.
Skirts
I have black, fuscha, mint, navy, and gray skirt. I got the first two from Down East, the next two from Mikarose, and then the last one from the BYU-I bookstore. The most expensive ones were from Mikarose.. but I just really liked them. :) They ended up being about $35, but I did get a coupon code because I'm a sister missionary. :) The other ones were about $20. Everywhere I shopped, I made sure that is was on sale or I had a coupon code. (Or both!) I don't pay full price for anything. :)
Dresses
I got the navy striped one at Down East for about $27 and the floral one from Asos for $25, Plus free shipping!
Cardigansssss
I thought cardigans would be a great idea so that I can mix and match them with all of my skirts and dresses. I thought I had 7.. but I only found 6 in my closet... hmm. I think I lost one somewhere. Haha. But anyways. I bought my cardigans at Rue 21, H&M, and Old Navy. I paid $15 for the ones from Old Navy and then $8 for all of the other ones! I thought that was a pretty good deal.. :)
Make sure to look in the sale and clearance sections! And then just kind of watch and wait for the best sale. :)
Shoes
I bought 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of rain boots. I bought some brown crocs (yes, crocs. don't judge!) and some black Naturalizer (old lady) shoes. :) But they're dang comfortable! So whatever. Haha
These ones are cuter than the ones I bought.. and they're only $40! I think I paid $45 for mine.
The great thing about 6pm.com is that they have free shipping and free returns!
Rain Jacket
So like I said.. I didn't pay full price for ANYTHING! This jacket was regularly $159, but I got it for $54 shipped. Boom, baby!
Sign up for their newsletter and you'll get like a 30% off coupon. I think I waited and they had a sale for 45% off, so that's when I bought mine!
Messenger Bag
If you buy a bag from Ogio.com and you're a missionary, you get 50% off! Killer deal right there. So this bag is originally $70 and I got it for $35 shipped. The easiest way that I found to contact them is by getting on their website and "chatting live" with them. They'll send you a link with a form for you to fill out and then you'll receive your coupon. Totally worth it!! There's also another messenger bag that's a little smaller, but I thought the bigger one would be better for me.
So yeah.. those are some of my finds! I also have some scarves and things that I can use to accessorize my outfits :)
I'm down to 20 days!! Hopefully I'm ready! :)
