Marrhaba! Slonage?
This week my favorite Iraq family taught me some Arabic. Haha. Marrhaba means hello and slonage means how are you. :)
Well our little trio has come to an end! Sister Muir is being transferred and Sister Kirschner and I are staying in Federal Way. I'm glad to stay but sad to see Sister Muir go. She is such an amazing missionary. She has really helped me to come out of my comfort zone! And I don't think I've laughed as hard as I have this transfer. Haha having 2 companions is just greatest thing. I'd definitely recommend it. Ha
So as we were walking around the other day we saw a family outside. Pretty sure they were all smoking and I really didn't want to go over there... but we did anyways! Because they're all children of God. :) So we started talking to them and I was seriously scared for my life. There was a mom and 3 teenage girls. They all just kind of stared at us and I thought for sure that they were going to beat us up! So we gave them a mormon.org card and tried to leave. Then one of the girls just started asking us a bunch of questions and wanted to know why we aren't Christians. (Which we are Christians... but whatever) So we tried to answer their questions but it wasn't really going anywhere. So again, we tried to leave. Then one of the girls said, "Oh you're not leaving until I understand!" Haha it was so scary. So we continued to talk to them and by this time, we were just talking to 2 of the teenage girls because everyone else left. After some time one of the girls, Sunshine, broke down and told us how she didn't think God was there. And if he was, He wasn't answering her prayers. It was such an amazing experience. We were able to testify to her that God is there and that He loves both of them. After that we left them with a prayer and I know that they felt the Spirit. It was so amazing!!
Ahh.. I wish I had more time, but I've got to go! But if you haven't already, go watch the new Mormon Message. We've been able to share it quite a bit this week with people who don't believe in God. I testify that He is there and that He hears and answers all of our prayers. I hope you all have a great week!
Ahebkome!!
